Via Dante – Piazza Staglieno Axis
Located at the heart of the Riviera di Levante, Levanto represents a historical and cultural hub closely linked to Ligurian maritime tradition. As part of the redevelopment project for the historic center, the Via Dante – Piazza Staglieno axis underwent an intervention aimed at redefining the urban quality, accessibility, and material identity of the public space.
In the spring-summer of 2020, HiSkin installed the new permeable paving in Mosaico Drenante, in the Arabescato shade, integrating it into the architectural design developed by the KK Architetti Associati studio.
The project involved a careful reinterpretation of traditional Ligurian slate paving through the creation of rectangles and squares that evoke the local historical language. Mosaico Drenante was inserted within these patterns, creating a dialogue between material memory and contemporary technology.
The result is a renovated pedestrian area, also accessible to service and emergency vehicles, characterized by a continuous, permeable, and non-slip surface. The intervention combines aesthetics and functionality, ensuring long-term durability and safe use in all weather conditions.
The 21-year warranty from the date of installation confirms the reliability of the system in a prestigious and high-traffic urban context.
