01. Does the supply include installation instructions?
Yes. A technical manual with general operational instructions is provided with each kit, including:
- aggregate/resin proportions
- mixing methods
- recommended environmental conditions
02. Is the supply covered by the HiSkin 20-year warranty?
The HiSkin 20-year warranty is exclusively associated with installations performed according to our quality standards. The supply of materials alone does not include this coverage.
Final performance depends on the entire system: substrate quality, correct stratigraphy, and compliance with installation instructions.
03. What requirements must the substrate meet before application?
The resin-bound aggregate system can be applied to concrete, asphalt, structurally stable cementitious substrates, and tiles.
The base must be smooth and compact, properly cured, and free of rising damp. In the presence of impermeable substrates, the surface must be adequately sloped to ensure proper runoff of rainwater.
Correct slope management is essential to avoid surface ponding.
04. In what format are the pervious concrete additives supplied?
HiSkin additives for pervious concrete are supplied in pre-dosed water-soluble bags for 1 m³ of conglomerate, simplifying the mix design dosage and reducing the risk of error.
The format allows for easy adaptation to truck mixers of different capacities, limiting material waste.
The bag can be placed directly into the mixer without manual opening, optimizing time and operational safety.
