HiSkin in the redevelopment of via Dante - piazza Staglieno in Levanto - Italy
Levanto is ideally located in the center of the 5 Terre, a wonderful marine area of the Ligurian “Riviera di Levante” and in its long history it has played an important role in the development of Ligurian seafaring activities.
As part of the redevelopment project of the historic center, during the spring – summer 2020, HiSkin has created Mosaico Drenante permeable paving in Arabescato color.
The project, developed by KK Architect studio to La Spezia, was the subject of careful study to combine a design inspired by Ligurian history and the use of modern and innovative materials such as Mosaico Drenante. The theme was the creation of rectangles and squares made of slate that recreated the traditional Ligurian flooring, inside which Mosaico Drenante be installed.
The finished work has given the town a renewed pedestrian area accessible also by refueling and first aid vehicles with an elegant and refined aesthetic, easily usable in any weather condition and which will last for many years (Mosaico Drenante is the only outdoor paving guaranteed 21 years from the date of installation).
